A PowerPoint presentation used in the introduction to open educational resources workshop delivered at VIU. Learning experiences can be enhanced and sometimes learning improved through the use of web-based learning resources. Many of these resources are free and open to the world to use including excellent textbooks, videos, case studies and learning materials. Called open educational resources (OERs), we’ll show you where some of the best collections reside along with exposing you to the wide variety of open resources for you to use!
